Responsible to place the patient on special table and positioned inside the MRI unit.
Responsible for preparing and dispensing radio isotopes and radio pharmaceuticals
Responsible for entering the data into the computer and programing the test based upon the type of test to perform and the time required.
Responsible to process MRI data to generate films.
Responsible to coordinate with the nurses in wards for MRI test for IPD patients.
Responsible to attend patient query and appointments.
Responsible for briefing the procedure to the patient and instruct during the procedure.
Responsible for preparing case sheets and dispatching the reports to respective department.
Responsible to ensure safety of both patient and staff during the MRI procedure.
Responsible for preparing duty roster for the junior technician.
Responsible for any other duties as assigned by Head of the department.
Responsible to perform X-ray and chest radiography in the radiology department
Responsible to perform portable X ray for patients in the IPD area.
Responsible to rate all the technicians during the appraisal process.
Responsible to coordinate with nurse in wards to send IPD patients for Radiological tests.
Responsible to brief the procedure to the patient.
Responsible to attend to Patients query.
Responsible to perform Ultrasound anf follow the following steps during procedure:
1. Patient is instructed to lie on the bed and the water-based gel is applied on the skin.
2. The technician moves the transducer on the neck to obtain views of the artery from different positions.
3. Visual images are recorded and the report is generated.
Responsible to perform portable ultrasound and follow the following steps during procedure:
1. Transfer the portable US machine to wards wherever requested.
2. Arrange the portable ultrasound machine in the wards.
3. Coordinate with the Doctors to perform ultrasound.
4. Assist in report generation.
Responsible to coordinate with nurses in wards for ultrasound test for IPD patients.
Responsible to attend to patient query.
To do the mamography.
Responsible to assist subordinates during procedure.
Responsible for any other duties as assigned by Head of the Department
