Role : IPD Billing
Designation - Senior Assistant
Experience : 4 to 8 Years

Job Description :
Daily updations in the bills of all patients from the time they get admitted in the hospital
Receiving query calls from nursing stations and resolving them
Resolving billing and chargeability query raised by the internal and external customers
Receive and enter the billing activities received from the Cath Lab, Cardiac and Multispecialty OTs
Maintaining and filling all documents pertaining to the patient
Receiving and filling the discount approvals in respective files
Entering and getting the discounts acknowledged under the respective heads and into the patients bill
Ensuring smooth shift handover and getting all queries resolved to maintain a clear handover
Rectifying any errors from the previous shift so as to minimize the error rate
Auditing of drugs, consumables and returns
During the night shift-
1. Receive all billing activities from various nursing stations on a 9 pm to 9 pm basis
2. Update all investigations, Bed side procedures, doctor visits and any other related information in to the HIS along with the chargeabilitys
3. The night auditing includes updating the complete bill of the patient including the updations of drugs and consumables till 9pm
4. Filling of all documents in the respective patients file

Making the final discharge bill after crosschecking the entries for the entire period of the patient stay
Before discharge crosschecking for approval and other required documents if the patient is under a corporate. Updating the patients bill according to the MOU with the respective corporate and post discharge raising the credit bill in the corporate name
Maintain the daily discharge report and ensuring that correct data is entered
Working towards streamling the process and ensuring improvement throughout


Salary: INR 3,25,000 - 3,75,000 P.A.
