Partnering with the sales leadership team to develop the Regional sales strategy for achieving the monthly and annual revenue/EBITDA targets.
Conceptualizing initiatives for increasing sales across all units in the region.
Identifying new markets; new engagements, new specialties and ways to drive future business in the region.
Identifying key sources of business and translating/allocating targets to the sources i.e. Doctor referrals, Corporate sales, Direct marketing (sales focus), emerging business, PSU and TPA. Also ensure healthy relationship with all of them
Overseeing the operations of the sales team so that business and sales practices are conducted with great professionalism and integrity and comply with the Fortis' Code of Conduct, company policies and ethical standards, and local, regional and national law, regulations and guidelines.
Developing and managing the fiscal budget related to sales activities for all the units. Developing and executing plans within allocated budget. Ensuring that the expenses remain within budgetary guidelines.
Gathering market intelligence with respect to services offered and their pricing by competitor hospitals and apprise the management of the same in a timely manner. Proposing appropriate corrective action as necessary.
Gathering information related to sales best practices in the healthcare industry across the Region and incorporate into sales training strategies and programs across units.
Ensuring design and implementation of a uniform sales training curriculum to support the strategy, including new hire training, product and disease state information, selling skills and other skill development programs, and compliance training related to promotional practices.
Conceptualizing and ensuring implementation of various direct sales initiatives to reach customers directly across the units in the Region.
Strategizing and streamlining the processes like recruitment, performance management and training & development of all team members. Appraise employee performance and facilitate team engagement activities.
